all your bass are belong to us
the cover of this disc is a screenshot from an old nintendo game known as zero wing. the character shown is “cats” and one of his lines in the (poorly translated) beginning sequence is “all your base are belong to us.” i have changed this just a little in order to apply it to music. the pixellated title text you see is also from the game. the bottom right corner says “*bass enhanced for great justice,” which also mostly comes from the game. the back isn’t finished yet, but i haven’t burned the cd yet either, so it’s okay.
the idea behind this cd is very similar to that of rupture, but with a pinch more intimidation. i never actually finished it though — this is the one i was working on when the appeal of the whole process wore off. i would have filtered each track in order to bring out the bass even more along with the usual track-to-track fade effects and possibly some mid-song distortion.
