beautiful

to me, beauty is a simplistic thing — a mostly plain white cover with a black-and-white strip picture bordered by silver, and the simple word “beautiful” tucked underneath it. the picture itself is beautiful to me because it represents love. this cover has something i don’t usually do — a design on the inside of the cover. that design is my pencil sketch of a rose, with a soft pink glow behind it. the back of this cd is a greyscaled photo of lake of the clouds, with a slight blue tint.

i made this cd for my girlfriend (she has since moved up to be my wife) for valentine’s day one year. the first track is actually me explaining what this cd is all about (so the track listing here is off by one). i chose tracks for this cd based on which songs i think are beautiful or remind me of my beautiful girlfriend (wife) and our beautiful love. i did not blend any of the tracks this time, but i may have added a few effects here and there.
